Sala d'Attesa is a new kind of magazine in which to read articles, users have to win a small game. Each game is designed to be coherent with the content it gets access to. For example to read an article the users have to complete a crossword puzzle or to view a photo series get through a memory game. The inspiration is a waiting room in which people look for entertainment as a kill time activity. Sala d'Attesa takes waiting to the next level because the entertainment becomes the goal of waiting, user play and wait for their turn to read an article or an interview. It is entertainment for the seek of entertainment.
Sala d'Attesa is the final result of an academic course at Politecnico di Milano, remotely attended during the first pandemic lockdown in 2020.
